Notes on 2009/10/14

  • Looked into Gemcutter docs. It’s straightforward, and you can just require gems as config.gem "factory_girl"; planning to fully migrate all projects and remove github’s gems in the days that follow.

  • With tickets received and our invitation letters for RubyEnRails 2009 on their way, we requested the necessary visa documents at the local tax service. Hopefully life will really be easier after January 1st.

  • Always send screenshots of paper mockups to clients for significant new features to save words and everyody’s time.
